The next version of eMoney, V5.3 will be getting rolled out over the next few months. Get ready for some significant enhancements in the following areas…
Planning
Retirement Plans – you can now model virtually all types of retirement plans including Roth 401(k)’s and Roth 403(B)’s.

Virtually, all types of retirement plans can be modeled including post tax contributions and unique retirement plans with special contribution limits. Scheduling of these contributions is available.

Cash Flow – you can now control whether to include investment income on the Cash Flow Report. This is driven from the Tax Realization Model of Taxable Accounts. You can also set a pre and post retirement distribution on the Tax Realization Tab. We also added the ability to change the view on the Cash Flow Report to either hide the Portfolio Growth and Other Portfolio Activity Columns or stop the Cash Flow Report at Net Cash Flow.
In addition, a Savings, Withdrawals and Detailed Withdrawals Report have been added under a new Cash Flow family of reports. Do not miss this!

Businesses – this is now a lot easier to use. The growth rate tied to the business is true capital appreciation and there is a business cash flow area to define specific business income, expenses and distributions. The irregular scheduling of these income, expense and distributions flows may also be modeled under the Schedule Tab.
Don’t forget to also check out the Business Activity Report.

Deferred Compensation – this is now a lot easier to use. Contributions are treated as an above the line deduction so gross income does not need to be adjusted. Scheduling of these contributions has also been added.

Sales Opportunity Reports
Focusing on clients that will provide you with the greatest opportunities is important to growing your business. With the new “Sales Opportunity Reports” you receive a list of new opportunities for increasing product sales, assets under management and client contact.
As you enter client information and as accounts are updated each night the data across all your clients is automatically evaluated and a set of “Sales Opportunity Reports” is created. These reports allow you to easily uncover opportunities and quickly identify those clients that have:
- Life Insurance amounts under the industry norm
- Insufficient disability protection
- Insufficient long term care protection
- High cash balances and credit card debt
- Stock Options about to vest or expire
- Upcoming product anniversaries and premium due dates
